This service would essentially cover the following key element
- Access to a personal development process where individuals can work through a range of diagnostic exercises to help explore their interests, needs and personal attributes
- Career coaching with an experienced business psychologist either on a face-to-face, telephone or e-mail basis who will support them at critical points in the job seeking process.
- The design and delivery of skill development workshops on job search, CV writing, interviewee practice, networking and personal organisation. This may well be delivered by ourselves or we would train internal trainers to provide the training.
- Access to specialist advice or workshops on financial matters, retirement, running your own business, etc.
By providing such a service for the staff whose roles are being made redundant, it means that you have the peace of mind in knowing that you have done everything in your power to ease the pain of redundancy of those who have given you loyal service over the years. In addition, it also has a knock-on effect with those employees who are still employed that they have the knowledge that they are working for a caring employer and as a result will continue to be engaged and motivated.
